Eggs Wrapped in Beef

This dish is best if the meat is marinated the day before but if you cannot do that, a couple of hours ahead of time should be ok.


6 beef cutlets
6 eggs, hardboiled, peeled
1 beer
1 onion, diced
1 tbsp. pepper sauce
1 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
Cotton thread


Marinade the cutlets in the beer, pepper, garlic, salt and paprika. Wrap each egg in a cutlet with the aid of cotton thread. They will resemble giant meatballs.  In a dutch oven, heat oil, add onion and sauté onion until it is soft but not browned.  Add the “meatballs” (reserve marinade) and brown all sides.  Pour marinade in and cook over medium heat until desired doneness.  Let it cool for a bit and remove the thread.  Enjoy.
